Urban Nature at the Beaney House of Art and Knowledge.
Urban/Nature has its first showing since the Knitting and Stitching Show last year and includes new pieces as well as the installation Tea-Flora-Tales. Based observations of the local environment of Canterbury and Kent
generally. I look at our connection to
the world around us, where our sense of personal and urban space
meets the ’wild’ landscape.
There will be an opportunity to take part in an ongoing installation
Tea-Flora-Tales at a Meet the Artist session on 30th November 11.00-3.00.
This exhibition will be opened by special guest, Richard Moyse from Plantlife UK. who will discuss the organisation's work and the importance of preserving our wildflowers, verges and wild spaces.
The exhibition continues until 12 January 2014 and entry is free
