Bluebell in the Embroiderer's Guild Collection

I am delighted to have my work represented in the Embroiderers' Guild Collection of the United Kingdom. Given this piece celebrates fond memories I have of my father it is significant of  childhood memories and special times in Norfolk woodland.

Congratulations on having this piece in the Embroiderers' Guild Collection, I saw it at the NEC and it is beautiful and very evocative. My memories of bluebells involve walking through droves of them in Danbury Woods and coming home with armfuls. Thanksfully, in hindsight, we only did it the once but I used to go past similar bluebell woods every Spring on the way to school. It's a sight you never forget.

It certainly is. I love the scent, the simplicity and the share breathe taking beauty of them. It is something essentially as 'English' as a 'Field of Golden Daffodils'' and worthy of Wordsworth
