Handmade Chelsea

Over the last few weeks my focus has been on family and will remain so. Considerable changes have happened in my life  and work. I am still able to work on some projects so am very pleased to be able to offer a Zoom workshop on Thursday 18th November for the Handmade Chelsea – The Contemporary Craft & Design Fair as part of the virtual offering. Limited places. Details and registration available here.

Whilst at the Knitting and Stitching Show in early October, I was delighted to discover Embroidering the Everyday was was being reprinted in time for Christmas. Equally delighted by this fabulous review on Mr X Stitch

and, taking part in his installation 'Stitch Your Story' in Blackburn Cathedral as part of the British Textile Biennial. (Thankyou CharlotteTreglown for the images)

Wonderful feature interview 'Finding Beauty in the Everyday' by Carollne Zoob Design in the latest edition of the Stitcher's Journal. The 18 page article gives an insight into my more recent work and pieces produced for Gypsy Maker 4 for the Romani Cultural and Arts Company. (Front cover image of the journal is a design by Caroline Zoob)

Painting with Cloth continues at the National Needlework Archive, The Old Chapel Textile Centre, Newbury until the 27th November 2021. I am also  excited to be working on a special installation with LV21 and hope to reveal more information shortly. None of this would have been possible without the continued support of colleagues and friends for which I am thankful.
